ALESSANDRO NOGARA

Winemaker

Winemaker Alessandro Nogara, born in 1991, is at the head of the historic Cantina Santi winery, located in the heart of Val d'Illasi, an area with a long tradition of wine production. As a young man, he spent a lot of time with his grandfather on the family farm, and it was hee that his passion for wine and the land was born, growing over time and leading to a conscious career choice. In 2015, even before completing his university studies in Viticulture and Oenology at the University of Verona, he joined Gruppo Italiano Vini and became involved in the management of wineries in southern Italy. In 2016, he began working at Cantina Santi as a laboratory technician. His mentor is Cristian Ridolfi, who imparts not only his oenological vision but also his experience and technical abilities. Under his guide, Nogara refines not only his analytical and production skills but also his sensitivity in reading the grapes, his attention to detail and his strategic approach to winery choices, which in 2019 led him to take on the role of oenologist.

In March 2026, he was appointed director of the Santi winery, which he manages with competence and a sense of responsibility, backed by a deep knowledge of the wines of the Verona area and the company's production philosophy.
